Welcome to my website! I'm Merrill Sampson, a passionate photographer currently based in Rhode Island. With over a decade of experience, I've been capturing captivating moments through my lens since 2009.

In early 2020, I began an exciting adventure as a photojournalist and chief photographer, capturing stories for television news outlets in Providence, RI, and Miami, FL. During my tenure, I utilized my skills to deliver captivating video footage and still images for on-air broadcasts and accompanying websites. The dedication and commitment I poured into my work earned me a NATAS SunCoast Chapter Emmy award in late 2022.

While my expertise lies in portrait photography and live music shoots, my love for the craft has led me to explore various genres and styles. I thrive on new experiences and opportunities and am always open to expanding my horizons in any field.
